Heather Willman is a Principal on Special Assignment who focuses on Secondary Curriculum, Instructional Coaching, and Staff Development. She has worked with the Rochester Public Schools for sixteen years, first as an English and reading teacher at the middle school level and then as the District-wide Secondary Reading Coordinator. Heather also teaches a course on Children's Literature at Augsburg College.
Heather enjoys traveling, hiking the Minnesota State Parks, and spending time with her family. Her husband, Steve, is a high school principal and her three children are in tenth, seventh, and second grade.

Brandon Macrafic is a Principal on Special Assignment who focuses on Career and College Readiness. He is the Administrator at CTECH and provides district-wide leadership to CTE programs as well as Research and Assessment. Brandon has worked in education for eighteen years as a teacher and administrator. This is his seventh year with RPS.
In his spare time Brandon enjoys coaching hockey, baseball, and softball. He and his wife Katie, a kindergarten teacher, enjoy travelling and following Minnesota sports. They are both 1994 graduates of John Marshall High School.

Heather Lyke is a Secondary Implementation Associate (primary foci: English and Social Studies) who has worked with RPS for eighteen years. Fifteen of those were spent teaching English at John Marshall where she still helps coach their competitive Speech Team. Heather also teaches at the Southeast Service Cooperative.
Married to a Mayo High School Social Studies teacher, education is often the conversation both at work and at home; nonetheless, Heather does find time to occasionally catch a quick matinee, paint landscapes and cityscapes, craft modern quilts, travel widely (mainly by train), write a bit of poetry, and read novels of all sorts.

Jen Coenen is a Secondary Implementation Associate (primary foci: math and science)/STEM Village Director who has worked in the Rochester Public Schools for fifteen years. Prior to working with the Secondary Curriculum & Instruction team, Jen taught middle school math, along with a bit of science, at Friedell Middle School (fourteen years) and Kellogg Middle School (one year).
In her free time, Jen enjoys reading on the patio, attending various sporting events (mainly those of her daughters', ages 16, 18, and 19), doing some outdoor gardening, and spending time with her family.

Katie Miller is a K-12 Implementation Associate (primary focus: English Learners). She has worked in the field of education for sixteen years, twelve of those years with the Rochester Public Schools. For nine years she worked as an EL teacher at Pinewood Elementary, but throughout her career has worked with EL students of various ages--from kindergartners to seniors in high school. Katie is also a strong advocate for EL students across the state, often collaborating with the Minnesota Department of Education as they draft new policies and procedures and revise statewide expectations.
In her free time, Katie enjoys reading on her deck, fishing in the many Northern Minnesota lakes, and going to the YMCA for a great workout. She is also in the process of becoming a Zumba instructor!

Kim Eversman is a K-12 Implementation Associate (primary focus: Instructional Equity). She has worked for RPS for the past two years as an Instructional Coach and has been an educator for nearly seventeen years. Before moving to Rochester, she was an assistant professor of Education at Wartburg College, a faculty associate and education policy researcher at Arizona State University, and a third grade teacher in White Bear Lake, MN. Educational equity and culturally responsive teaching have been the driving forces behind her for the whole of her career.
In her free time, Kim serves on the board of Aldrich Memorial Nursery School and is a manuscript reviewer for several educational research journals. Her favorite thing, however, is spending time with her husband and three daughters--reading books together or playing in the wood on the family farm.

Ann Miller is the K-8 District Math Specialist. She has been working in the Rochester Public Schools since the spring of 1991. In her years at RPS, Ann has taught fifth and sixth grade, has been an Implementation Associate, and has been an Instructional Coach. She also currently teaches at Augsburg University.
Ann enjoys reading, being outdoors, baseball, and spending time with her husband Dwight and their two grown children.
